With children

We've noticed that kids like to keep an "adventure book" while on the road. They love drawing their adventures or collecting small things. It feels a lot more like a game for them!
Don't hesitate to ask your host if they have toys at home and if they can take it out for your kids.
Make sure to have enough food for the kids, especially if they're cycling.

With young children

If young children travel on your bicycle, they will end the day with a lot of energy left. Make sure to stop on the way so that they get the opportunity to spend their energy as well.
