A few rules of thumb in bicycle touring:

  1. Always have at least a cereal bar on you. Getting really hungry on the road is not nice.

  2. Eat before you're actually hungry! Trust us, you'll thank us!

You’ll be riding with your own bicycle. Do a technical check of your bicycle at least two weeks before your trip to make sure you’re good to go. If you have any doubts, it’s best to pay a visit to your local bicycle shop beforehand.

Wearing a bike helmet is not mandatory in Belgium but highly recommended for full days on your bike.
