For Welcome To My Garden: facilities vary from one garden to another. Some hosts might offer access to showers, others not. Youβll always have access to inside or outside toilets.
A few rules of thumb in bicycle touring:
Always have at least a cereal bar on you. Getting really hungry on the road is not nice.
Eat before you're actually hungry! Trust us, you'll thank us!
Youβll be riding with your own bicycle. Do a technical check of your bicycle at least two weeks before your trip to make sure youβre good to go. If you have any doubts, itβs best to pay a visit to your local bicycle shop beforehand.
Wearing a bike helmet is not mandatory in Belgium but highly recommended for full days on your bike.
